Welcome to the 2024-2025 FIRST Tech Challenge season!
The GearMinds FTC team is made up of talented 9th and 10th-grade students. Their mission is to design, build, program, and operate robots for head-to-head challenges in an alliance format. This experience is often described as “the hardest fun you’ll ever have!” Under the guidance of adult coaches and mentors, the students develop STEM skills, practice engineering principles, and understand the value of hard work, innovation, and sharing ideas.
Practice sessions will be held over 20 weeks, from mid-September to mid-February. The team will participate in a minimum of 4 tournaments. The monthly practice fee will be $200, with a one-time $50 registration fee due upon registration. The monthly fee will be payable upon receipt of the invoice.
